The European Peace Facility (EPF) was established two years ago, and a lot has changed since then. This paper provides an overview of the practical implementation of the EPF, with an analysis of what has happened over the past two years. The paper summarises the main purposes of the EPF and sees how they have materialised. It follows up on the statement by the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) from 2021 on minimising significant risks in the implementation of the EPF, considers how the concerns of civil society have been addressed and ends with updated recommendations.
