After 75 years PAX is still very much needed. Worldwide there are some many people still trying to escape from repression and violence. They deserve our help. PAX is independent of political interests and supported by a broad group of concerned citizens and civil society organisations.

Rolien Sasse – Executive Director
Our Board of Directors is responsible for managing the organisation, with full managerial responsibility. Each Board member has one vote, and decisions are usually taken by consensus. The Board of Directors is accountable to the Supervisory Board.
In May 2024, the Supervisory Board decided to reduce the number of directors on the Board to one person, the Managing Director, who works closely with a (new) Management Team to steer the organisation.

Supervisory Board
The role of the Supervisory Board is to provide independent and professional oversight of the Board of Directors’ policies.The Supervisory Board is responsible for approving the Strategic Framework Plan 2021-2025, the annual plan and budget, and the annual report and accounts.Currently, the Supervisory Board consists of:

Integrity Policy
All of us at PAX are responsible for respecting our values and for observing a high standard of integrity, wherever we work. We at PAX also all share the responsibility for a safe work environment for employees and safe cooperation with our partner organisations.
Remuneration Policy
PAX applies the classification system of the Collective Labor Agreement for Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN) for the remuneration of all employees. We follow the same scale for the Board of Directors. Members of the Supervisory Board, IKV Board, Members Council Pax Christi and our volunteers do not receive any remuneration for their work.
