Sudan Alert

The Dutch peace organization PAX is calling on the EU and Germany to rethink their current policies toward Sudan. Strengthening the position of the regime in an attempt to reduce refugees will likely lead to more humanitarian crises, and yet more refugees. At the same time, new aid proposed for the region undermines the international isolation of indicted war criminal President Omar al-Bashir.
