This report deals with the historical struggle of local civil society organizations in Tolima (Colombia) for their right to participate in decision making on a large-scale gold mining project (La Colosa, of Anglogold Ashanti).
It is also about the risks that the project entails with regard to the safety and the human rights situation of the local population, and about the problematic way in which the company and the Colombian government deal with this problem.
