Advancing Civilian Harm Mitigation in UN Peacekeeping

On 24 May 2023 PAX, together with Center for Civilians in Conflict, the Netherlands’ Permanent Representation to the UN in New York and the UN Department of Peace Operations, organised an event on the sidelines of the annual UN Protection of Civilians week. In this event, we discussed how UN Peacekeeping Operations can and should seek to mitigate harm to civilians from its own actions. Our main findings can be found in this event summary report.
