PAX is joining more than one hundred organizations in condemning proposed EU plans to prevent immigrants from reaching Europe.
These organizations have signed a joint statement calling on EU leaders meeting in Brussels on Tuesday and Wednesday not to carry out new Partnership Framework agreements based on the deal already made with Turkey. The right to asylum is being undermined, and it will become more difficult for civilians in conflict zones to seek international protection.
