In this report we show that there is a new generation of weapon systems being deployed with increasing levels of autonomy.
The fast-paced developments in artificial intelligence and other technical advancements have led to an increase in the capabilities of weapon systems with autonomous functions. Ten weapon systems are described to highlight the diversities of the systems, including the diversities in capabilities, scale of functioning, of operating environment and of country of origin.
