“Hi Ahmed, how’s life?”
“Good. Thank you. When people ask how we are then we say “Good, Ilhamdu l-llah (thank goodness)”. But … I am still working on the paint job. It was a little more work than we thought. We had to re-plaster the kitchen. That is ready now, so we can start painting. You know how that goes. So we will open a little later – Monday, I hope. ”
“It was a nice day yesterday. My mother came to visit and we played with my daughters Lara and Layan the whole day. We had not done that for a long time. ”
