The third and final cohort of over 50 CSO participants and male allies completed a PAX-organized, German-funded training in Juba in March 2026, focused on lobbying, advocacy, national laws, and international human-rights instruments to combat gender-based violence. Facilitators emphasized closing the gap between formal law and harmful customary practices, and urged participants to share their knowledge within communities to hold institutions accountable. Participants described the training as transformative and called for continued donor support to push for passage of key legislation, including the Anti-GBV Bill and the Family Law Bill. PAX reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening women’s voices at community and national levels across South Sudan.
