The report is based on eight weeks of field research in South Sudan, in the period March-April 2011. It explores the consistency of security measures –DDR, SALW control, and security sector reform – with community security. This is the third report by the Peace Security and Development Network’s (PSDN’s) Community Security and Community-based DDR in Fragile States Working Group.
