NPDI is a group of twelve countries that are actively engaged in disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control discussions, both inside and outside the NPT framework. This paper examines the composition of the NPDI and assesses some of the contributions made to date. The paper also puts forward recommendations as food for thought for the participants of the March 2014 meeting and beyond.
