Kosovo Alert: security major problem after elections in northern Kosovo

After the elections in northern Kosovo on 3 November – which were marred by incidents and intimidation; polling had to be repeated in three polling stations – security continues to be a major problem in northern Kosovo. IKV Pax Christi recommends Kosovo, the EU and Serbia to improve security, the rule of law and the life of the citizens in northern Kosovo. Also the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should be worked out in a transparant way, including further dialogue.
