Empowering civil society organisations on Evidence Based Advocacy Skills

Over 50 faith-based leaders and civil society organizations gathered in Juba from 28–30 January 2025 for a PAX-organized, Netherlands-funded workshop on Evidence-Based Advocacy, covering themes of nonviolence, transitional justice, and free elections. The workshop coincided with the launch of PAX’s Active Nonviolence Booklet. Participants gained practical analytical tools to identify and resolve conflicts peacefully, with church leaders and women’s groups expressing enthusiasm for applying these skills in their communities. The event concluded with gratitude extended to both the Dutch and German governments for their continued financial support for peace and advocacy programs in South Sudan.
