Don’t Buy Into Occupation

Dutch billions are still going to companies involved in illegal Israeli settlements.

The Don’t Buy into Occupation coalition is a joint project of Palestinian and European organizations based in Belgium, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, oorwegen, Spain and the United Kingdom. Since 2021, the coalition has been investigating financial relationships between European financial institutions and companies involved in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In its fourth edition, the coalition provides an up-to-date overview of financial relationships between such companies and European financial institutions. This shows that several Dutch companies, pension funds, banks and insurers are involved in the settlement economy and thus run a high risk of contributing to systematic human rights violations and violations of international law of war.

In addition to the report, a Dutch Country Brief, a Company List and responses from financial institutions are also available.
