An inclusive psychosocial support and trauma counselling to civil society organisations

Over 50 members of female-led civil society organisations gathered in Juba in May 2025 for a PAX-organized, German-funded three-day psychosocial support and trauma counselling workshop, marking the second batch of EWI project beneficiaries. Participants expressed their thoughts and feelings openly in a supportive environment, with many sharing powerful personal transformations including healing from trauma, gaining self-awareness, and finding renewed motivation. Facilitators encouraged participants to apply their psychosocial skills within their communities and workplaces to drive broader societal change. The workshop concluded with participants departing with renewed hope and commitment to effecting positive change in their communities across South Sudan.
