Over 150.000 drew the red line

On 15 June, we once again marched to draw the Red Line through The Hague. With over 150,000 people, we demanded action from the Schoof cabinet to stop the genocide in Gaza. With a higher turnout, we sent a clear signal to the outgoing Schoof cabinet to finally take action and stop giving Israel a carte blanche.

We demand concrete steps. Gaza cannot wait and the Netherlands has a duty to do everything it can to stop the genocide. Cabinet, take action and draw that Red Line now!

Draw the red line. Now!

The vast majority in the Netherlands wants the genocidal violence and unbearable suffering of Palestinian civilians to end. Every day, children die from a created famine. Every day, people are murdered even as they seek help.

That is why we took to the streets for a fundamental change of course with firm sanctions on Israel, both from the Netherlands and in a European context. There must be a complete arms embargo and any form of military cooperation with Israel must end. Because the time for yet another investigation is long past and it is the duty of the Netherlands to do everything it can.

Together, we showed that the Netherlands is a country that stands for international law and humanity. We are also pulling together with others in Europe and rest of the world who are adopting Red Line actions, from Canada to Italy. Together, we showed that we demand immediate and firm action to stop the genocide in Gaza.
