As key actors in a Syrian-led inclusive transition in Syria, they should be listened to and their demands should be taken into account. For the Syrian-led inclusive transition to succeed, it is key to build on good practices from the last decade, draw lessons from past experiences, and harness the strength and determination of Syrian civil activists who remain committed to building a just and free Syria.
The statement will be handed to members of the European Parliament on March 6th.
