Over the years we have been working on numerous projects some larger, some smaller. In this video we showcase some milestones.
A few examples of the projects:
- Conflict Resolution Training: In the East region, training programs have empowered individuals like Pastor Dayamaba to mediate conflicts. He has successfully resolved an interreligious conflict in his village, preventing potential violence between Muslim and Christian communities.
- Community Cohesion: Our initiatives have fostered unity among displaced persons. Groups have been established, bringing together people from various ethnic and religious backgrounds to discuss their village’s future and maintain social cohesion.
- Ambassadors of Peace: In the Central North region, ambassadors of peace mediate conflicts. Naaba Koom, a local chief, resolved a land dispute between Mossi farmers and Fulani herders, restoring peace and access to land.
- Interfaith Reconciliation: In the North region, extensive training helped resolve an conflict between Sunni and Tijani Muslims.
- Preventing Extremism: PAX’s programs have been instrumental in preventing radicalization and violent extremism, promoting lasting peace and reconciliation in Burkina Faso.
